On December 18, 2022 a meeting with representatives of the Georgian diaspora was held at the Embassy of Georgia in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Mikheil Tigishvili, Chargé d'Affaires of Georgia to the Arab Republic of Egypt informed compatriots about the 2023 selection competition of the grant programs announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, namely "Supporting Georgian Dance and Song Ensembles Operating Abroad" and "Supporting Diasporic Initiatives".

The meeting was also attended by the Georgian students studying Arabic in Egypt.

During the meeting, the Charge d'Affaires of Georgia also spoke about the activities planned by the Embassy in 2023 and stressed the importance of active coordination between the Embassy and the Diaspora.
