Ambassador Nikoloz Apkhazava visited the Arabic Language Teaching Center at the Faculty of Education and Science of the Cairo University

On November 23, 2025, Ambassador Nikoloz Apkhazava visited the Arabic Language Teaching Center at the Faculty of Education and Science of the Cairo University.

The Ambassador of Georgia attended a certificate-awarding ceremony to Georgian professors of Arabic language, who completed a two-week study program organized by aforementioned center on the methodology of teaching of the Arabic language. A group of Georgian professors of Arabic language from Tbilisi and Kutaisi State Universities participated in the program. The group was led by Dr. Darejan Gardavadze, Professor of Tbilisi State University.

The Ambassador held meetings with Dr. Mohammed Hossein Rafaat, Vice President of Cairo University and Dr. Eman Haridy, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Science. The parties discussed the prospects of further deepening mutually beneficial collaboration.
