Nikoloz Apkhazava, Ambassador of Georgia to the Arab Republic of Egypt paid a courtesy call on Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo

On May 20, 2026 Nikoloz Apkhazava, Ambassador of Georgia paid a courtesy call on Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to revitalize the sister cities agreement signed between Tbilisi and Cairo in 2012, including the measures for implementing practical steps aimed at boosting cooperation between the two capitals in the fields of economy, education, tourism and local governance, as well as exchange of visits, organizing joint culture weeks, exhibitions and festivals.
