H.E. Mr. Nikoloz Apkhazava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tarek Afifi, Head of the Protocol office of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

 

On December 9, 2025, H.E. Mr. Nikoloz Apkhazava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tarek Afifi, Head of the Protocol office of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the meeting the sides discussed measures of further deepening bilateral relations. The main emphasis was placed on the possibility of exchanging high-level bilateral visits, which would give a new impetus to the cooperation between the two nations.

The sides briefed each other on recent developments in Georgia and Egypt and in the respective regions as well.
