A screening of the feature film “Repentance”

On 30 June 2026, with the support of the Georgian National Film Center, and in collaboration with the Embassy of Georgia in Cairo and the French Institute in Egypt, a screening of the feature film “Repentance”, directed by Georgian filmmaker Tengiz Abuladze, was held at the French Institute in Egypt.

The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, as well as representatives of Egypt’s cultural and academic circles and local media.  

Following the screening, guests had the opportunity to share thoughts about the film with the Embassy staff.
